About

The Live Beyond You Service Challenge was born from the rubble of a devastating earthquake that left over 250,000 people dead and a million more displaced.

BIRTHED from TRAGEDY.

Built for Community.

The Live Beyond You Service Challenge was forged in the wreckage of 250,000 deaths and a million broken lives.

When a devastating earthquake tore through Haiti — the birthplace of our founder, Watson Tunez — the world watched. Watson did more than watch. He moved.

A Haitian-American recording artist and the architect of social impact music, Watson had been rescued by a missionary as a child and raised by an American family in Washington State. Haiti felt like a distant memory. Then the ground shook, and something deeper than distance stirred within him. He called his friends. He called his family. He boarded a plane. He went home.

Alongside the missionary who once saved his life, Watson helped build a school. And somewhere between the wreckage and the rebuilding, a revelation emerged: music could be more than sound. It could be a bridge — stretching across broken communities and into the hands of those willing to restore them.

He called it social impact music. Music that carries humanitarian values at its core, while systematically channeling resources toward social causes.

The movement grew from there.

At Anderson University in Indiana, Watson rallied a group of young artists to record an album — one built entirely to address the suffering in Haiti. As partnerships with businesses and brands came together, a full ecosystem took shape. Beyond Me Initiative, the nonprofit arm of the movement, was established with a board of directors overseeing a humanitarian grant pool, dedicated to funding the Service Challenge and expanding corporate stewardship.

As audiences connected with Watson's music, merchandise, and live experiences, they were invited into something greater — the Live Beyond You Community. A subscription-based platform where digital engagement becomes real-world impact. Where fans become Initiators. Where passive listeners are transformed into active agents of change, equipped and encouraged to identify a local cause, champion a local charity, and pursue healing in their own neighborhoods.

And here's what makes this movement unique.

Watson traveled thousands of miles back to his homeland. He raised thousands of dollars. He rallied a team and went. But you don't have to go that far.

Your journey begins exactly where you are.

A small group of friends. A local cause. A community that needs healing. That is where living beyond yourself starts. No perfect budget. No ideal connections. No prerequisite experience. Just the willingness to begin — and the commitment to let service become a way of life, one act at a time.

As Mother Teresa once said, "We may not be able to do great things, but we can do small things with great love."

That is the heartbeat of this challenge.

Beyond Me Entertainment, the record label arm of the movement, continues to amplify this mission — signing and promoting artists whose music carries the weight of purpose. Watson stands as the voice of it all. Together, these pillars — the Initiative, the Entertainment, the Community — form a unified humanitarian movement. This is your invitation. Take the challenge. Find your cause. Join a community built to cheer you on every step of the way. The world needs what only you can give. Start here.

"Our music is the spark. But the impact is the flame."

The Initiators — You

REAL STORIES OF LIVES TRANSFORMED

The harsh reality of an Indianapolis winter isn't the cold—it’s who is left out in it.

When Allies for Humanity hit a crisis and faced losing their center, Indy’s unhoused neighbors were at risk of being left with nothing.

Beyond Me Entertainment stepped in, rallying local artists for an emergency benefit concert. In just one night, our community raised nearly $500 to help relocate their headquarters and keep their lifesaving mission alive! This is what living beyond yourself looks like: using music to raise funds and community to change the world.
